Pit Bull Terrier - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - Ivan

Ivan is our goofy and energetic young guy who is in need of a loving and fun forever home. This silly guy is about 5 months old and is full of puppy energy and puppy habits. He already has some basic commands and is potty trained (when kept to a schedule) and our beautiful boy is quickly learning that chewing is only for toys and not for fingers or shoes. He is learning that he needs to listen to his humans and follow their lead (though he still gets distracted by noises, flashy lights, and anything shiny). Ivan absolutely loves to play and play and play and play and play. He is living with other dogs right now, but would do well in a home without other dogs or with dogs that are very patient with his over enthusiastic play as he is quite overwhelming for timid dogs. Ivan is also around cats but should not go to a home with cats that run as he likes to play with cats that are not afraid to stand up to him. Ivan will need a home commited to finishing his obedience training and manners training to make him the well rounded individual he will become. If your home is full of love, patience, and lots of energy then this charmer is for you. I will be recommending Ivan goes to a home with older children since his energy and puppy play will be a little much for younger children. (Ivan will be neutered by the time he goes to his forever home) Note: Please fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you within 1-2 business days. We do not have a central office facility, all of our pets are housed in foster homes until they are adopted.
